Footwear maker Mochiko to dual manufacturing capability with Rs 300-400 cr investment, ET Retail

.New Delhi: Former The Puma Corporation India-MD Abhishek Ganguly, who last year acquired B2B sporting activities footwear maker Mochiko under his athleisure wear and tear start-up Agilitas Sports, intends to double Mochiko's production capability over the next 3-4 years.Talking to ETRetail, Ganguly shared that the company is developing a huge facility for Mochiko in Noida which is assumed to come to be working in the upcoming 2 months, adhered to by one more development unit in South India in the next 6-8 months. "Currently, our team have an annual ability of 9 lakh sets and employ 10,000 folks. We intend to increase this in the upcoming 3-4 years," he pointed out. Discussing the financial investment, Ganguly added that the company will invest Rs 300 - 400 crore in creating these capacities."
